I’ve been blessed to be able to travel quite a lot in recent years and have learned a lot about the intricacies and important factors to take into account when taking off on an adventure. Here’s my top travel tips for 2012 and the places I think all guys developing themselves should make a point of seeing before the years out.

Firstly.. Keep it light! Your traveling, not fashion touring. It’s amazing the amount of stuff some guys bring with them, keep it light. Stick to the essentials. You don’t need forty pairs of shorts for your 2 months in the sun. Stick to 2 of everything as a general rule of thumb. Except underwear and socks.. that’s just wrong ;) . Also make sure you pack things like extra toothbrushes, phone charges, phone cards, insurance docs and everything else that you wanted want to lose in a secret compartment, preferably with a lock.

Research.. I’ve lost count of how much money I’ve lost rolling into a new city late and getting ripped off because I didn’t take the time to find the bomb spots. In this day and age it’s even more inexcusable because things like I phones, lap tops and free WIFI ensure that all of the information that we need is never far away. Do some research on the cities you might hit and write two or three hotels, or hostels in your price range on a notepad before you end up there.

Steer clear of tourist traps.. One sure way to spend all your travel money before you can blink is going to the same spots every tourist goes to. These places are awash with canny locals out to strip naive tourists of their bulging pockets and sending them home with some cheap artifact that will end up gathering dust on a shelf. Again this comes down to research and going to places you love and have a passion for.

Set a budget. Stick to it. Don’t end up spending more one night because your with a new girl or there was a drinks offer on. If you wanna stick it out your going to have to get used to brutal budgeting and sticking to the plan. Do this and you’ll spend more time in the places you love with the people you love. Then in your last week, if you got some dough left over.. go crazy :P

Top 5 Best PUA Books

OK. Every guy new to success with women seems to wanna know what books are going to accelerate their learning curve and get them in bed with hotties and dating dimes as quickly as humanly possible. It’s only natural, I have shelves stacked with self help books and dating advice. Some of the books are life changing and brilliant whilst others simply offer rehashed and rewritten material in the quest for a quick buck. So I’m gonna stop you buying the bad ones and tell you the best PUA books that are currently on the market. These books really helped me massively and I hope if you take the time to read and absorb them, will help you to..

1. Psycho Cybernetics – Maxwell Maltz – This is a basic self help book that covers and explores our self concept and how changing it can drastically change our own behavior. It definitely helped me feel more comfortable in my body and the techniques if practiced consistently have an amazing overall effect on confidence.

2. A New Earth – Eckhard Tolle – Whilst these books aren’t all necessarily focused around the field of dating and pick up they all will help you hugely if read and applied. This one helps garner more authentic and genuine relationships as well as being a hugely effective way of seeing the world and not getting dragged into negativity.

3. The Game – Neil Strauss – “style’s” incredible part fictional tale of pick up artistry and overcoming AFC status. An engaging read, if slightly cheesy.

4. Way of The Superior Man – David Deida – The amazing and remarkably simple to read book on masculinity by David Deida. Obviously written by someone who has been there and done that, this has to be one of the best PUA books on the market.

5. Attraction Formula – Paul Janka – I love his simple style, he’s been a huge influence in my game (hence the site title) and it’s just an easy to digest and implement system for getting with hot girls. Muchos recommended.

So that’s my top five books on self help, pick up and confidence. Please read them and let me know what you think, the Tolle and Deida stuff generally get mixed reviews from the people I recommend them to with half loving and the other half completely baffled as to why I’d recommend them. I think they are awesome and especially handy if your a guy like me with a tendency for over thinking becoming “present” can pay huge dividends in your dating life.

If your from Europe you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say DAMN IT’S COLD! The UK at the moment has temperature of like 2 degrees so an essential bit of kit for any guy this time of year is a winter jacket. It’s funny though because most dudes don’t have a clue when it comes to buying complimentary jackets and end up trudging through the city looking like an unemployed ski instructor/ heroin addict. A cool looking denim number from top man, for a laid back look. Pair with chinos or very dark jeans and this one can definately be a keeper.

Firstly I wanna dispel the myth that has circulated around the dating community that states mindlessly approaching in huge numbers is going to somehow wind up turning you into a lothario. Sure practice is essential in improving your dating skills but there are undoubtedly situations in which a more subtle and pragmatic approach is called for. College is definately one of these situations and where what I call slow burn game comes into play.

First things first. Utilising clubs and societies. This is f*cking MONEY $$. I can’t actually remember how many awesome chicks I’ve met through joining strange clubs but it’s a hell of a lot. Drama societies, boxing (weird amount of chicks roll), poetry, yoga join them all. It’s an awesome way to meet cool girls outside of the club environment and if you play your cards right build intimate relationships.

Avoid approaching full on in uni but do still approach. Stuff like situational day game openers really come in to good use here. If I’m in college studying for an exam I’ll be sure to take a break and talk to some girls in the coffee shop or S.U Bar. If you’ve been practicing your day game like outlined in previous points this should not be a problem.

BE A SOCIAL CONNECTOR

I can’t stress this enough.

You’ll be meeting different groups of guys and girls throughout your college life providing your going out and joining societies as described, awesome stuff. Now you want to connect them. It is a sign of huge confidence and great social value if your the type of person introducing people to each other and especially in an environment such as college where people are eager to get along it can be of enormous importance to get people interacting and talking to each other.

Organise events: get people to a club night you planned to go to. Movie nights, awesome, Saturday hung over BBQs again super awesome. Theres a million ways to incorporate your personality into providing fun for your friends and the more you do this… the more your gonna get laid and the reputation as the cool guy on campus.

Most of the stuff we read in the dating advice community is centred around nightclubbing. DHVs, social circles, entourage game, rapid escalation are to name just a few of the popular methods of meeting girls after dark. They are awesome, but they are missing a vital and in my experience beautiful part of the puzzle. One that is actually much simpler and easier to execute than many of the night game tactics that are peddled on PUA materials..

DAY GAME

it’s bloody awesome.

Here are my tips for day game and how it should be done.

Direct VS Indirect:

Generally speaking I opt for direct. However it’s slightly different from the run of the mill balls to the wall direct I would use in say a bar. This is simply to cater for the fact it’s the day time and the girls expectations and frame of mind are completely different. So tone it down whilst still communicating sexual interest.

Day game 101:

1. Use a tailored direct opener, such as “hey you have a sexy walk, I couldn’t let you strut by without introducing myself”

2. Be prepared to push through the initial 5-10 minutes of the interaction. You are behaving in a way she’s probably not used to, and despite the fact she might love it she may not be fully comfortable so go easy, relax and don’t become reactive for the first few minutes.

3. If approaching a girl walking towards you, wait til she has walked past. Then run after her, stopping a few feet in front of her holding eye contact. This works. I don’t know why but if you try to stop a girl head on they always blow you out.

4. Slow, subtle intensity, not high energy club game. Keep it light, playful and slow, make sure after you get the number you continue to banter for 5-10 minutes and voila your inn like flynn.

5. Find a good day 2 spot, trust me you’ll need it ;p

Best places for day game:

1. The streets, any high street and you’ll find hotties. Grab life by the balls and start approaching.

2. Coffee shops, amazing I’ve had a lot of success in coffee shops.

3. Malls/ shopping centres

4. Markets, these are truly glorious as you catch girls in their element and they’re usually not in a rush.

5. Museums, you get the picture.

Dating tips: First date checklist

OK, so you’ve followed some tips and landed yourself a date with a girl you really like. You think you need a girlfriend and she could be the answer. Awesome. Now you have to deal with the next bit, which is coming across as a cool, confident guy and potentially gaining a new girlfriend, wife, f*ck buddy etc. Truth is I messed up a lot of dates in my early days and for the life of me couldn’t figure out where I was going wrong. Until I met a guy who was what we call a “natural”, he took me under his wing and taught me exactly how to be my best self on each and every date.

1.Choose a venue for the date near your house. Somewhere quiet, relaxed where you feel comfortable. Make an effort to go alone the day before your date, have a quiet drink and get to know the bar staff. They’ll love you and the next day you roll in with your girl she’ll be amazed at how well you get along with everybody. The PUA community calls this “social proof” but I call this common sense.

2. Dress well but don’t over dress. Take time in picking your clothes and then forget about them. I can’t stress this enough, once you’ve found an outfit put it on and then think about it no more. You’re going for effortlessly stylish, not self-conscious.

3.Talk about her. Girls love conversations about themselves. It’s s a massive generalisation but it’s generally true. It helps if your genuinely interested, which I’m sure you are so make an effort to ask open ended questions. I.e. what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done on a date or what city would you most like to live in.

4.Drink, but don’t get drunk. A glass of red wine to calm the nerves is fine but don’t stumble around the bar like an alcoholic, it’s not hot. Be sure to calm yourself before you leave the house and limit your drinking to 2-3 glasses of wine. Enough to loosen you up and not make you throw up.

So there are my top tips. Make sure you follow them and I’m sure you’ll . Remember don’t take dating too seriously and you’ll have the girls you always wanted in no time at all

OK fashion has to be one of the least rated aspects of getting your dating life handled. I’m not talking about become one of those paranoid dudes who spends their entire pay check on the very latest watch because they think Linda from the office is gonna notice it, but I am saying having a cool style will help you stand out and get you a foot in the door. One guy who I’ve seen countless times and always looking fresh to death is Tinie Tempah, whether he’s rocking a D & G suit to the Brit’s or simply pairing a graphic T with a pair of jeans he always seems to pull it off. Heres how you can emulate his style and a few of his key pieces to get Tinie Tempah’s style and fashion.

The nerd glasses: We’ve all seen the pass out video, we know he’s got the geek look down and theres definately something cool about these ones. The ones in the pic are from river island and you can pick a pair up for under 15 pounds.. bargain.

 

The next up is the graphic T. He always has cool colourful T-shirts and both times I saw him at festivals this summer he had a T-shirt on that instantly made me jealous. I found out the make of one of my favourites and it’s called dope chef. You can pick them up online for about 20 pounds and they really are, well, DOPE!

You could pair this T with anything but personally I’d go with a pair of light denim jeans, fitted and some fresh Nike or Adidas trainers. Have it underneath a lumberjack shirt for layering and you’ll be sure to have Tinie Tempah’s fashion style down in no time.

Lastly and not least is the shoes. Kick game, trainer spotting whatever you wanna call it it’s of great importance when trying to get urban style clothing down. Here are some of my favourites.

How To Stay Out Of The Friendzone

So, your talking to girls. They love you. Your confidence is rising but your still not getting the kind of sex you think you deserve. A LOT of guys get stuck here and it’s a truly common problem. It’s called being stuck in the friendzone.

Sucks right?

Not if you know how to get out of it.

It’s all about one thing. You get stuck in the friend zone if you haven’t communicated your sexual intent clearly enough and early enough on in the interaction.

Girls won’t make the first move.

To get around this you need to be sexually escalating on your girls earlier in the interaction. Begin with subtle touches as your talking, brushing her arm to highlight a point and holding eye contact slightly longer than you would normally and gradually build. Put your arms round her, stare into her eyes and bam. Kiss her, she’s generally not gonna confuse the guy shoving her against the wall with his tongue down her throat for the gay best friend.

But what about girls your already FZ’d with!? I hear you cry

There is hope. You need to isolate them, alone time is key and carry out the steps listed above. However be calibrated to whatever atmosphere you have between you and maybe go a little bit slowly. Be unapologetic about what your doing, there is always a chance she will blow you off but believe me it’s better to find out than be her best friend who secretly dreams of banging her.

How To Get Healthy in 2012

Well, despite what many dating gurus will tell you in my experience one thing that always helps with the opposite shape is being fit and healthy. Not only do you look better, you feel better and are able to communicate much more confidently. Even if you are just starting out and still overweight/ unfit the fact you are taking action shows through in all your actions and you sub communicate a masculinity you never would have before. Anyway heres my tips to a healthier body in 2012.


1. Squats: You should do these at least once a week they work you to your very core and are essential for releasing growth hormone and raising your metabolism.

2. Diet: Paleo diet. It’s tough but if you stick to it you won’t ever look back, for recipes go to Paleo Banquet and you can google the basics. It’s great stuff.

3. Cardio: All weights and no cardio makes you feel strange and over worked, throw in a 20 minute HIIT exercise workout once or twice a week and you’ll feel great in no time at all.

Lines that demonstrate both charisma and charm, rendering the potential suitor unable to resist the charm of the magical poeticism that has just left the mouth of the silver tongued lothario. Well truth is they don’t exist, but here are my favourite openers and in which context they work best.

Daytime:

Situational. Always situational. Practise noticing specific things you like about the girl and coming up with an ad hoc statement to get her interest. You look hot won’t do. Why does she look hot? Does her jewelry match her dress? Is she wearing particularly extravagant shoes? These are the types of things girls put a huge amount of effort into and if you take time to notice, chances are she’ll appreciate you for it.

example:

“Wow, I just saw you walk past and had to say your style is incredible. I love the way your dress matches you shoes, you must work in fashion?”

- shows you’ve noticed something about her, can talk confidently, know what you want and the open ended question at the end makes it hard for her not to end the conversation.

Nighttime:

At night, girls are more dressed up and savvy as to why you are approaching them. I usually go a little more direct here. The trick is saying the opener from a place of authenticity and not taking it too seriously. Do this and she’ll love you instantly.

example:

“I hate you, you’ve just ruined my evening making me walk all the way over here with your gorgeous legs and cute dress.. who are you!?”

blaming her for you being attracted always works, not sure why but it seems to hit the spot. Likewise when your alone with a girl saying “your bad, your making me so turned on” is better than saying “I’m horny, lets f*ck.” Simple but effective is the name of the game.
